FROM THERE TO HERE

Start with
your starting point.

These are route options, not live journey plans. Choose your arrival date and time in the planner, and check service changes before setting off. Fares and travel times depend on the route and operator.

JFK

John F. Kennedy International Airport

AirTrain. Then the city.

  1. Follow the airport signs for AirTrain to Jamaica.
  2. At Jamaica, follow subway signs for Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport. Under regular service, a Manhattan-bound J train can take you to Bowery.
  3. Check the train's destination and service changes before boarding. From Bowery, use walking directions to 125 Bowery.

Another option is an LIRR train from Jamaica to New York Penn Station, then onward to the hotel. Check your rail destination: not every Manhattan train goes to Penn.

LGA

LaGuardia Airport

A bus-to-subway connection.

  1. From Terminals B and C, the free LaGuardia Link Q70 connects with the subway at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av / 74 St-Broadway.
  2. For Terminal A, use the airport's terminal-specific transport guidance. Do not assume the same bus stop serves every terminal.
  3. Plan the subway leg to 125 Bowery for your actual arrival time. The best connection can change with evening, weekend or construction service.

Use the MTA guide for current bus connections and the airport's directions for finding the correct stop at your terminal.

EWR

Newark Liberty International Airport

Rail to New York Penn.

  1. Follow the current AirTrain or shuttle-bus instructions to Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Station.
  2. For a route via Midtown, take a NJ TRANSIT train to New York Penn Station. Check the train and ticket destination carefully.
  3. From New York Penn, continue to 125 Bowery by subway or your chosen car service. Check departures in advance: NJ TRANSIT rail is not a 24-hour service.

AirTrain construction can change the airport-to-rail connection. Check the airport's live advisory before travelling. New York Penn and Newark Penn are different stations.

PENN

New York Penn Station / Moynihan Train Hall

From Midtown to Bowery.

  1. Your rail journey ends in Midtown Manhattan; CityNest is in Lower Manhattan.
  2. One regular-service option is to walk to 34 St-Herald Sq, then take a downtown D train to Grand St. Herald Square is a separate subway station from Penn.
  3. From Grand St, follow walking directions to 125 Bowery. Check the live route first if you need fewer stairs, less walking or a different connection.

Penn has several exits and nearby subway stations. Plan from your actual exit and travel time, especially if you have large bags.

THE LAST PART OF THE JOURNEY

A few familiar
names to look for.

Bowery and Grand St are nearby subway options. Your route may use a different station depending on where you start and the service running that day.

J / Z

Bowery

The J line serves Bowery under regular service. Z service is limited to rush-hour patterns. Check the current route before travelling.

B / D

Grand St

Grand St at Chrystie Street is another nearby stop. B and D service patterns vary by time and day; check the MTA before you leave.

Need a step-free transit route? Use the MTA's accessibility information and live elevator status. A suitable transit route does not change the hotel's stair-only access.
